Ghana Health Services (GHS) has launched a four-day nationwide vaccination campaign with support from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This initiative, which began on October 1, 2024, aims to vaccinate approximately 5.2 million children against measles and rubella and provide Vitamin A supplements to those aged between 9 and 59 months.
President Henry B. Eyring of the First Presidency highlighted the importance of teaching the simplicity of Jesus Christ's doctrine during the Sunday morning session of the October 2024 general conference. "We must avoid speculation or personal interpretation that goes beyond teaching true doctrine," President Eyring stated at the close of the session.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has reiterated its stance on political neutrality, civil discourse, and abortion in response to recent inquiries. The Church maintains its position of not endorsing or opposing any political parties or candidates. It stated that it "does not endorse, promote or oppose political parties and their platforms or candidates for political office."
