The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square is set to visit Buenos Aires, Argentina, in August 2025 as part of its "Songs of Hope" world tour. The event will be accessible to those outside the Buenos Aires area through live viewings at Latter-day Saint meetinghouses and watch parties across Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Choir President Michael O. Leavitt expressed the mission behind the tour: “The formula for a happy life requires hope. The mission of this tour is to inspire all of God’s children— worldwide.”
Buenos Aires marks the fifth stop on the Choir's current world tour. This visit coincides with the 100th anniversary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South America.
Details regarding venues, tickets, guest artists, and livestreaming will be provided at a later date.
Previously, the Choir announced its world tour dates in Peru. The "Songs of Hope" tour has already made stops in Mexico, the Philippines, and the Southeastern United States.
