According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, law enforcement agencies in Northern Kentucky received a donation of 160 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) on November 14. This donation was facilitated by Project Heart ReStart.
The sheriff's office said that this contribution was made possible through the efforts of several organizations. They expressed gratitude towards St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Rotary Club of Florence, the Christ Hospital Health Network, and the Matthew Mangine Jr. "One Shot" Foundation, among other local partners.
The sheriff's office indicated that due to these donations, every law enforcement agency in Northern Kentucky is now equipped with new AEDs for use in the field.
