Kathy Oehler, the Family Resource Center Coordinator at North Point Elementary, was named the recipient of the 2024 Harry J. Cowherd Award for Center Excellence.
This state-level award is presented annually to only one Family Resource Center in the state, and honors exceptional service and dedication to supporting children and families.
The Harry J. Cowherd Award is the Division's most prestigious recognition, given to a center that has gone above and beyond its standard operations to make a meaningful impact on the community it serves. Oehler's leadership and unwavering commitment to the families and children in our area were key factors in this recognition.

The award highlights Oehler’s outstanding contributions to her role and celebrates the exemplary services provided by Family Resource Centers across the state.
