Registration for RootsTech 2025 is now open, offering a blend of in-person and virtual experiences from March 6 to March 8, 2025. The event will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, and online at RootsTech.org. Hosted annually by FamilySearch, an international genealogy organization sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RootsTech aims to inspire and educate family history enthusiasts.

The conference will feature a variety of classes and workshops led by industry experts. Attendees can explore the latest innovations in the Expo Hall and enjoy main stage sessions with celebrities and influencers sharing personal family stories. For Latter-day Saints, Family Discovery Day on March 8 offers activities designed to deepen family connections through faith.

"RootsTech provides an opportunity to connect with old friends, make new ones and expand social networks," the organizers stated. In 2024, attendees made over 350 million new family connections.

Early bird registration for the in-person conference is $99 until November 1, after which it increases to $129. Online participation remains free.

FamilySearch International is recognized as the largest genealogy organization globally. It offers free access to genealogical records and resources online or through numerous centers worldwide.
