Jim Simon, born on July 12, 1961, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 64 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. Jim dedicated his working years as a forklift operator for the former Johnny's Toys in Latonia.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tammy Simon, and loving children Carissa McCarthy, James "Jimmy" Simon, and stepdaughter Stephanie Watkins, as well as his grandchildren. Jim also leaves behind his sisters Rose Mathis, Jackie Maxwell, Kate Kenney, and Shelly Zappa, along with his brothers Tim and Tom Simon, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Julie Simon.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and attend the funeral services honoring Jim's life on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Hebron, located at 1833 Petersburg Rd, Hebron, Kentucky. Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM.

Jim Simon will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
