A former member of the Hebron Fire Department, an EMT, and a devoted member of Hebron Baptist Church, Gene also belonged to the Dutchman's Rod and Gun Club. A passionate Cincinnati Reds fan, he found joy in fishing, reflecting his love for the outdoors.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, son Todd William, sisters Marian Rogers and Ann Clifton, and brothers Jim Blaker and William Blaker. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Blaker, sons Christopher Mark, Timothy Justin, Thomas Michael, and Troy Albert, sister Betty Ruth French, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Gene will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Hebron, with funeral services following at 1:00 pm, and interment at Beech Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
