The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that the 195th Semiannual General Conference will take place on Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5, 2025. The announcement was made in a letter dated September 4, 2025, addressed to congregation leaders and intended to be read aloud during sacrament meetings.

“General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction from the Lord,” the First Presidency stated in its letter. “We encourage all to listen to, study, ponder and apply the counsel given. The messages will be published in the Gospel Library app, on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, and in Church magazines for further viewing and study.”

A notice from the Church regarding the event emphasized the significance of general conference for members and others interested in learning about the faith: “The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that He lives and that God loves, hears and speaks to His children. His personalized guidance and inspiration may be experienced through the counsel of living prophets, apostles and leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. ... All are welcome to hear the word of God during the annual broadcast of general conference as leaders share messages of love, hope and joy.”

The sessions will originate from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. There will be five sessions: three on Saturday (morning at 10 a.m., afternoon at 2 p.m., evening at 6 p.m.) and two on Sunday (morning at 10 a.m., afternoon at 2 p.m.), all times listed in Mountain Daylight Time.

All sessions will be streamed live on the broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org in 80 languages. Additional options include watching or listening via YouTube’s General Conference channel (14 languages), Gospel Stream app (11 languages), Gospel Library (80 languages), as well as various radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.

For those who cannot watch live or wish to revisit messages later, text, audio, and video formats will be available after the broadcast across multiple platforms including Gospel Library, Media Library, YouTube’s General Conference channel, Gospel Stream app, and Church magazines—in up to 98 languages.

Members residing in the United States or Canada who wish to attend a session should contact their local ward or branch leaders about ticket availability; tickets are distributed electronically through stakes and districts. Those outside these countries can request tickets through their stake or district president starting three months before conference dates. Tickets also serve as UTA passes for travel within Salt Lake City during conference weekend.

Further information about attending sessions—including standby seating procedures—and additional resources related to general conference preparation are available through official church channels.
