A new Young Men General Presidency and several Seventies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began their assignments on August 1, 2025. These changes were previously announced and will soon be reflected on the official Church website.

During the April 5 general conference, President Dallin H. Oaks, First Counselor in the First Presidency, introduced the new Young Men General Presidency. President Timothy L. Farnes was sustained as president, with Brother David J. Wunderli as first counselor and Brother Sean R. Dixon as second counselor. Their service to young men ages 12 to 18 includes traveling and using technology to support youth, parents, and local leaders across the globe.

President Farnes resides in Bountiful, Utah, works as a self-employed investor and advisor, and has held various leadership roles in the Church including mission president and stake president. Brother Wunderli lives in Alpine, Utah, is chairman of ORI Inc., serves on the Young Men General Advisory council, and has also been a mission president and YSA stake president. Brother Dixon lives in Spanish Fork, Utah, directs the Utah South Institute Region for Seminaries and Institutes, currently serves as a stake president, and has worked for three decades in youth religious education.

Elder Kevin R. Duncan was called to serve in the Presidency of the Seventy effective August 1 after being announced during April general conference by President Oaks. Elder Duncan has served as a General Authority Seventy since 2010 with previous assignments including President of the Central America Area and executive director in the Temple Department.

On April 14, area leadership changes were also announced by the First Presidency that took effect August 1—including assignments related to a newly created Canada Area. Leaders assigned outside of the United States live within their respective areas to provide guidance to members locally.

Additionally, at an April 3 leadership session during general conference week, seventy-eight new Area Seventies were sustained; they began their service this month.
