Preceded in death by his parents Robert Brooks Kelsay, Sr. and Betty Lou Burgan Kelsay, sisters Denise Kelsay Loomis Black and Yvonne Kelsay Hammons, and niece Rachel Hammons, Robert leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and devotion.
A 1974 graduate of Corbin High School, Robert proudly played on the football team before serving in the US Army with the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. After retiring from a successful career with CSX, Robert found solace and community at Northern Kentucky Baptist Church.
Robert's love for fishing, camping, music, Kentucky basketball, and Cincinnati Reds baseball defined his interests, alongside his passion for playing the bass guitar and enjoying the game. His legacy lives on through the love and memories he shared with his children and the values he imparted upon them.
A visitation and service will be held at Northern Kentucky Baptist Church in Lakeside Park, KY on Monday, June 2, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America or Northern Kentucky Baptist Church missions in honor of Robert's memory.
