John T. Dye, Remembered as Distinguished Machine Technician and Dedicated Family Man

Hebron - John T. Dye, 78, of Hebron, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, Kentucky. Born on July 22, 1946, in Hebron, Kentucky, to the late Oliver H. and Barbara R. Dye, John had a fulfilling career as a machine technician at Cincinnati Milacron for over 20 years. He later served as the Plant Manager for the former King Tool Co before retiring.

A devoted member of Hebron Lutheran Church, John found joy in fishing and woodworking during his leisure time. Known for his dedication to his craft and his family, John was a pillar of strength and kindness in the community.

John was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 56 years, Mary Faye Dye, his sister Barbara Jo Kuhns, and brothers Michael R. Dye and Harold W. Dye. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Dye; son, Kevin Dye; brother, Robert H. Dye; sisters-in-law, Debbie Dye and Brenda Dye; brother-in-law, Robert Kuhn; as well as nine grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hebron Lutheran Church, located at 3140 Limaburg Road, Hebron, KY. The funeral service will commence at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Hebron Lutheran Cemetery in Hebron.

The family is being served by Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Hebron.
