Joy M. Budai, 79, of Florence, KY, Passes Away

Joy M. Budai (nee Ryle), 79, passed away on May 2, 2025, at Florence Park Care Center in Florence, Kentucky. She was a former Sunday school teacher at Greenview Baptist Church and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Joy was a graduate of Boone County High School and worked at ComAir before dedicating her life to being a homemaker, mother, aunt, and friend.

Predeceased by her parents Eldon and Clara Mae Ryle, husband Carl Budai, and brother Tommy Ryle. Survived by her son Alan Wayne Budai, cousin Carol McCauley, nephews Marcus (Trista) Ryle and Rick (Cheryl) Ryle, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on May 16, 2025, at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY, with funeral services to follow. Burial will take place at Big Bone Baptist Cemetery in Union, KY. Condolences can be shared at www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com.
