Religious educators and Seminaries and Institutes (S&I) teachers globally have been invited to enhance their teaching effectiveness at the upcoming Church Educational System (CES) Religious Educators Conference. The event will take place on June 12 and 13, 2025, allowing participants to attend in person or via a live stream at Broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

Hosted on the Brigham Young University campus in Provo, Utah, this annual gathering will feature a keynote address by Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. (MDT), the address will be delivered at the Conference Center Theater in Salt Lake City. The following day, an opening session led by Elder Alvin F. Meredith III, president of Brigham Young University–Idaho, and Elder Clark G. Gilbert, Commissioner of the Church Educational System, will commence at 8:30 a.m. in Provo.

The conference aims to provide educators with opportunities to exchange best practices, gain understanding of youth needs, and access teaching resources. Elder Gilbert emphasized the significance of active student participation: "Deep learning requires more than just passive listening. We need our students to lean forward and be engaged learners. One of the ways this happens is when students are allowed to share what they are learning with others. If you know you’re going to be expected to share what you are being taught, you prepare differently."

Keynote and session materials will be accessible post-conference in the Gospel Library, available in 41 languages. The event will focus on enhancing scriptural and prophetic teachings, encouraging sound doctrine, and promoting professional growth among educators. It also seeks to foster community among religious educators from various organizations.
