Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles conducted the session at the Conference Center on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Elder Ulisses Soares discussed the importance of reverence for sacred things as a way to connect deeply with God and invite spiritual revelation.
Elder Patrick Kearon highlighted the significance of recognizing oneself as a child of God. “‘We really are God’s children. That truth is breathtaking! Stunning! And it is not figurative,’ he said, adding that accepting this ‘all-encompassing gift’ can ‘transform every aspect of your life.’”
Elder Michael B. Strong spoke on the importance of charity and ministering to the needs of others as fundamental aspects of discipleship. He encouraged followers to seek guidance in understanding others' needs.
Elder Scott D. Whiting invited those dealing with shame and guilt to return to God and embrace the healing power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He underscored creating a culture of acceptance and belonging.
Elder Christopher H. Kim discussed the negative impact of hardening one's heart. He promoted daily repentance, humility, and trust in the Savior to maintain an open heart and mind.
Elder Benjamin M.Z. Tai talked about the accessibility of God's love to everyone, urging individuals to seek His love through prayer and actions.
Prayers were offered by Elder David L. Buckner and Sister Tracy Y. Browning, with music by The Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square, directed by Mack Wilberg and Ryan Murphy, accompanied by organists Richard Elliott and Brian Mathias.
