The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released the 2024 statistical report detailing the current status and growth of the church as of the end of last year.

The statistics reveal that the Church is organized into 3,608 stakes, 450 missions, and 494 districts, with a total of 31,676 wards and branches. Church membership worldwide stands at 17,509,781. In terms of growth, the church recorded the addition of 91,617 new children of record and 308,682 converts baptized during 2024.

The report also highlights the missionary efforts of the church, stating that there are 74,127 full-time teaching missionaries, along with 31,120 senior service missionaries and 4,192 young service missionaries serving globally.

Regarding temples, there are 194 temples in operation, with an additional 59 under construction and 114 more announced for future construction. The year 2024 saw the dedication of 16 new temples, including those in Casper, Wyoming; Cobán, Guatemala; Deseret Peak, Utah; Layton, Utah; Lima, Peru Los Olivos; Mendoza, Argentina; Orem, Utah; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Puebla, Mexico; Red Cliffs, Utah; Salta, Argentina; Salvador, Brazil; San Pedro Sula, Honduras; Tallahassee, Florida; Taylorsville, Utah; and Urdaneta, Philippines.

Additionally, eight temples are under renovation or reconstruction. These include the temples in Kona, Hawaii; Manhattan, New York; Orlando, Florida; Provo, Utah (Rock Canyon); Salt Lake; San Diego, California; Stockholm, Sweden; and Toronto, Ontario.
