The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, alongside School the World, has contributed to the construction of seven classrooms in Panama. This initiative, conducted on February 27 and 28, aims to enhance education in remote regions by improving learning conditions for numerous students and teachers.
These classrooms are set to benefit schools in three provinces within Comarca Ngäbe Buglé, Panama. The project also includes the creation of recreation parks for children.
Local Church leaders, School the World coordinators, a representative from the Ministry of Education, and Gabriel Escalante from the Civic Association attended the donation ceremony. Parents and community members were present as well.
Students, teachers, and parents expressed gratitude for this contribution, noting its positive impact on their children's education. "Thanks to this effort and commitment, these classrooms represent learning opportunities that will transform lives. Education is the path to a better future," said Annia Bogantes at the event.
This initiative not only improves school infrastructure but also strengthens relationships between The Church of Jesus Christ and local community leaders. It supports children's progress and well-being while reaffirming the Church's dedication to providing access to quality education.
