Boone County Sheriff's Department hosts internet safety talk for parents

The Boone County Sheriff's Department is set to host an Electronics and Internet Safety Talk on Wednesday, March 26. The event will feature presentations from the Criminal Investigations Division, Electronic Crimes Unit, and the Commonwealth Attorney's Office.

The talk will take place at 3000 Conrad Lane, Burlington, KY 41005, beginning at 6:30 p.m. It is aimed at parents and guardians of school-aged children, focusing on various internet safety tips to help keep children safe while staying connected online.

Parents are advised not to bring their children as the presentation is specifically designed for adults in the home.
