The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has unveiled the exterior rendering for the Lehi Utah Temple. This temple will be constructed on a 22.48-acre site located northwest of the intersection of 3950 North and Center Street in Lehi. The plans outline a multi-story building approximately 85,000 square feet in size, along with a new meetinghouse. It marks the first temple for the city.

Utah serves as the global headquarters for the Church and is home to nearly 2.2 million Latter-day Saints, representing about two-thirds of its population of 3.5 million people. The Lehi Utah Temple will become the 31st temple in Utah that is either operational, undergoing renovation, under construction, or announced.

Currently operating temples in Utah are situated in various locations including American Fork (Mount Timpanogos), Bountiful, Brigham City, Cedar City, Draper, Layton, Logan, Manti, Monticello, Ogden, Orem, Payson, Provo (Provo City Center), Saratoga Springs, South Jordan (Jordan River and Oquirrh Mountain), St. George (Red Cliffs and St. George), Taylorsville, Tooele (Deseret Peak), and Vernal. Additionally, new temples are being built in Ephraim, Heber Valley, Lindon, Smithfield and Syracuse while renovations are ongoing at the Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple and Salt Lake Temple. Temples were also announced in Price and West Jordan in 2024.

"The ceremonies conducted inside each temple teach about the purpose of life and unite families," stated church officials regarding temple practices. Members commit to following God's commandments and supporting His work while adhering to teachings from Christ's time on earth.
