Seventy-nine new temple presidents and matrons have been appointed by the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve at various temples around the world. These leaders are set to begin their service in September 2025, or upon the dedication of new temples.
The Church currently has 367 temples that are either dedicated, under construction, or announced. Typically, temple presidents and matrons serve for a period of three years.
Here is a list of some of the newly called leaders and their respective temple assignments:
- Aba Nigeria: Lekwauwa O. Agbai and Loretta U. Agbai
- Anchorage Alaska: Wesley Newman and Linnea Newman
- Asunción Paraguay: Alcides Colmán and Yolanda Colmán
- Bahía Blanca Argentina: Horacio Paez and Sonia Paez
- Belém Brazil: Wilson Lima Miranda and Maria Auxiliadora Rosário da Silva Miranda
Among others serving in various locations worldwide include:
- Cochabamba Bolivia: René Juán Cabrera Balanza and Teresa Perales de Cabrera
- Elko Nevada: Ken Bowler and Robin Bowler
- Harare Zimbabwe: Dunstan G.B.T. Chadambuka and Pertunia Chadambuka
Notably, certain temple assignments remain to be announced for locations such as Guadalajara Mexico, Kyiv Ukraine, and Panama City Panama.
