In 2025, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will once again focus their studies on the Doctrine and Covenants as part of the "Come, Follow Me" gospel study curriculum. This marks the second time since its introduction in 2018 that this scripture will be a central focus for church members.
The curriculum, titled “Come, Follow Me—For Home and Church: Doctrine and Covenants 2025,” is designed to support gospel learning both at home and in church settings. It serves as the teaching material for various classes including Primary, Sunday School, Young Women classes, and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings.
The new curriculum begins on December 30, 2024. Study resources are already available digitally through ComeFollowMe.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and the Gospel Library app. A variety of supplementary materials are also provided to enhance study sessions at home or during church services.
One notable resource includes “Insights from the Apostles” teaching videos featuring members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. These videos will be integrated into digital lessons monthly in 24 languages. Elder Patrick Kearon’s video is included in the January lesson plan while Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf's video appears in February.
Other resources include links to Church History materials within each lesson for more comprehensive study, updated "Doctrine and Covenants Stories" available digitally in multiple languages, and resources from the “Friend” magazine tailored for children.
To assist with tracking gospel study progress, members can utilize Gospel Library study plans which offer various options including plans for seminary readings or following weekly schedules aligned with "Come, Follow Me."
Additionally, printed copies of lesson manuals can be ordered by congregation leaders or individual members through store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Audio format materials are also accessible for those who require them.
Church activities such as Primary classes on Sundays will follow a unified manual while Sunday School sessions will aim to deepen understanding of doctrines studied throughout the week. Elders quorum and Relief Society meetings will discuss messages from recent general conferences using resources found online or in print editions like "Liahona."
Seminary students will adhere to a similar schedule focusing on Doctrine and Covenants studies with course materials accessible via designated platforms like mySeminary.churchofJesusChrist.org.
