The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has unveiled artistic renderings for the exteriors of five new temples across North America. Additionally, the location for a temple in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been disclosed.

In Mexico City, the Benemérito Mexico Temple will be constructed near the Mexico City Missionary Training Center. The planned two-story building will cover approximately 29,000 square feet and will be the second temple in the city. President Russell M. Nelson announced this temple during the April 2022 general conference, emphasizing that "positive spiritual momentum increases as we worship in the temple."

In Pennsylvania, an exterior rendering has been released for the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Temple. This single-story structure will span about 20,000 square feet on a site located at Rutherford Road in Dauphin County. President Nelson announced this project during the April 2023 general conference, stating that "Jesus Christ is the reason we build temples."

The Jacksonville Florida Temple is also set to begin construction on Loretto Road. This single-story building will cover approximately 29,000 square feet. President Nelson announced this temple in October 2022, promising that "increased time in the temple will bless your life."

Missouri's Springfield Temple will occupy part of a 38-acre site on East Farm Road #188 and will feature a single-story design of around 29,000 square feet. Announced during April 2023 general conference by President Nelson, it joins two other temples in Missouri.

The Winchester Virginia Temple is planned for Merrimans Lane in Frederick County. It will be a single-story structure covering about 30,000 square feet and was also announced by President Nelson during April 2023 general conference.

In Argentina, plans have been revealed for the Buenos Aires City Center Argentina Temple to be built on Avenida Cordoba Esquina Reconquista. Announced by President Nelson during October 2022 general conference, he remarked on making temples more accessible and accelerating their construction pace.

Members of The Church view temples as sacred places distinct from meetinghouses or chapels used for regular worship services. Temples are primarily used for sacred ceremonies like marriages and proxy baptisms.
