The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has initiated a continuous Christmas stream on the Gospel Stream app, starting December 1. The service offers round-the-clock access to Christ-centered messages and music throughout December.
Gospel Stream, the official app for all church broadcasts, is accessible in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. It can be downloaded on various platforms such as Apple Mobile, Apple TV, Google Play, Google TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire devices.
Matt Anderson, product manager for the Gospel Stream app, highlighted the ease with which users can engage with the spirit of Christmas through this offering. “It brings inspirational messages into the home without people having to think about it,” he said.
The stream features a variety of content such as Christmas talks and stories, scripture videos, songs from the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square as well as contemporary music focused on Jesus Christ. Among these performances is Yahosh Bonner's rendition of "Sweet Little Jesus Boy," recorded in 2017.
Courtney Nelson from the Church Communication Department described the stream as a “perfect Christ-centered backdrop to have playing during the busy holiday season.”
