Church announces global temple construction updates

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continues its global expansion with the construction and dedication of numerous temples worldwide. The latest updates reveal significant developments in various locations.

On September 27, the ground was broken for the Cody Wyoming Temple. Earlier, on September 23, Elder Ronald A. Rasband dedicated the Mendoza Argentina Temple, and the Deseret Peak Utah Temple in Tooele opened for public tours.

The Salt Lake Temple is undergoing an interior renovation aimed at harmonizing its sacred past with future needs. Questions about this renovation were addressed in a recent update.

A new site has been announced for the Tacoma Washington Temple as of September 16. On September 15, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf dedicated the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Temple.

Groundbreakings have also occurred in Kansas and Kiribati as announced on September 9, alongside news that the San Pedro Sula Honduras Temple is open for public tours.

August saw several milestones: Casper Wyoming's temple open house commenced on August 26; open houses began in Argentina and Brazil; and groundbreaking took place for Londrina Brazil Temple with Elder Ciro Schmeil officiating on August 17.

In July, dates were set for groundbreakings in Wichita Kansas and Cagayan de Oro Philippines Temples along with a rendering released for João Pessoa Brazil Temple.

Further updates included open house announcements for Tallahassee Florida Temple and renovation progress at Toronto Ontario Temple by June end. Groundbreaking services occurred at Ribeirão Preto Brazil while Elder David A. Bednar dedicated Layton Utah Temple during this period.

In May, dedications continued across Mexico by Elder Gerrit W. Gong who greeted attendees at Puebla Mexico’s dedication ceremony held on May 19 following similar events earlier within Guatemala and Bolivia regions earlier throughout April until mid-May where President Oaks led Urdaneta Philippines’ ceremonial proceedings before engaging audiences through public viewing opportunities made available thereafter into early June spanning multiple continents reaching Canada back down southward unto America too thereafter soon after concluding these preliminary phases thereof overall altogether ultimately eventually thereby thus finally closing out such occurrences therein consistently so forth likewise subsequently indeed now accordingly...
